Who has a reverse osmosis system with a inline TDS meter and if you do what’s the reading in to the system and out of the system before the DI ?
I’m building a big system and I want to compere some number

Honestly, that number is OK when the RO first starts up but hopefully it below 10 after it’s made a gallon or so.


It all depends on your membrane’s rejection rate. Small increases in rejection rates are massive in water quality output and DI lifespan.

Assume 400 ppm tap water a 95% membrane would give you 20ppm output where as a 97.5% membrane output 10 ppm, twice the DI life and 98.5% membrane would output 6ppm, 3.5X the DI life.

I’m getting about 289ppm before going in and 7-8 out the membrane I was just wondering because the web that I got it from is advertising 1-0 PPM out of the membrane but I’m getting 7-8 ppm so I want to see if anyone here get this reading from 1-0 ppm

Membranes, real ones at least, aren’t rated in output ppm. They are rated in rejection rate.

You’re rejection rate is 97.5%

One more thing , Anybody know a store were I can get a 3/8 inline TDS meter with 3 sensors ?
