Ordering some G5 Blues and am wondering if any of you have them and what you think?I'm going to try 4 fixtures perpendicular and go from there. From the vids I saw, I think Blue is the way to go and with all channels at 100%, would be the same as the AB+ program that many reefers use. I'm over changing T5 lamps.

Awesome lights, I will be getting some myself in a few months. I got 1 of them to test out and thought the light was fantastic with great spread and color. I also like the layout of the leds much better than previous versions.

Hopefully you’ll get the batch where the lower housing cover an optic lens are fixed. The 1st intial batch came with broken lower housing cover and optic lens where the screws are located. People are still having some hiccups with Mobius on the lights not syncing correctly with the setup schedule or connectivity with Bluetooth. I had brought the initial 1sr batch that were released and I had the cover and optic lens broken. I didn’t have any problem connecting to Bluetooth in the beginning, but after the recent firmware updates I had issue with getting it back on schedule. I’ve found out if you have Mobius open and didn’t do any change to the setting you still have hit resume to schedule to get it back on schedule. There are ton of people on R2R going through all this hiccups.

Here are some pics. There are fixes for the broken parts, but seem like Mobius still got more working to do before it can operate correctly.

Thanks! Other than the controller issues, how do you like them otherwise?

I have 2 xr15 blue over my 70gals as well. The spread it very impressive comparing to the older generations. No need for the diffuser at all.

You ditching the Powermodule?
Yeah I think it’s time. I’m looking at it like damn have to change the lamps again. It’s huge, heavy, needs two people to get it off the tank... giantpain in the ass. Nice light though. I think it’s time for me to give all LED a try.

You will not be disappointed with the LED, especially the G5 Pro. All of mine sticks are under LED and they grow well!!!
