Radion xr30 issue

I have radions xr30, not sure of the model. that randomly shuts off during the day and will stay on later then programed. Recently they haven't been turning on as programed. Everymorning the green light is off on power supply,"the older white metal box", I unplug then plug back in the power supply then the green light turns on. It's hooked up to an apex mini. At first I thought the apex mini was shot but now the power supple is giving me trouble woth random shutoff. Can I replace the power supply with the newer black box. That's all they sell online now

May be the light saying it’s overheating

Cost of ballast may not be worth it. Upgrade may be more reasonable

You can replace to power supply with a standard ac/dc converter. But you will need to know what gen it is. Or post a pic of the bottom of the white metal casing
I’ll show you what to order.

You will also need to cut off the original plug that plugs into the white casing. Then replace that with a 3.5mm female connector so the new power supple will be plug in play

If your near Perris ca I believe I have a few extra power supplies and I can test the light to see if it’s failing. I do recommend that a radion should be cleaned and washed every few years.

Yes im in menifee ok ill send a pic of the bottom. I'd love to get it tested to get a better diagnosis.

Ecotech uses 130w or 150w drivers.
130w is non pro. 150w is pro.

I also have some spare parts for radions so I’m pretty sure I can fix it if it’s acting up.

After some diagnostic I zeroed it down to the wxm on my apex. I bought a reef Ling from someone on the forum. Haven't hooked it up yet because everything went back to normal but I'm sure it will happen again soon because this was not the 1st time. I will hook up the reef link soon
