Got one from another member about 4 or so months ago. Tentacles were fully extending out at around 3 inches or so. Well my female maroon clown beat it up pretty bad and it almost died. Well if I didn't intervene by covering it and eventually rehoming the clown it would have. Fast forward to now and it's recovered and seems to have found a spot it likes (hasn't move in a few weeks now). However the tentacles never fully extend like they use to. They're only like an inch, if that. It looks more like a leather than an anemone now with it's long stalk. How do I get it back to how it use to be?

Probably give it some more time. It's recovering so thats good. It might just be the effects of lighting and flow in the new spot too. How's the color? Have you fed the BTA?

A photo is worth a thousand words. Any time someone mentions an anemone with a long stalk, I assume it isn't getting enough light... however I can tell nothing from your description.

Anemones like a lot of light, flow and nitrates in the water as they can take it in as food directly.
