The website says $56 a day, $46 for 4 hours.
Parking at the Hilton convention is $47 a day
Disney parking lot across the street $40 a day

I may park at the Garden Walk and walk over.

I just did some searching, and it looks like you can book parking nearby or at the convention for much cheaper $21-$26. The site is spothero dot com. Thats a much better price for the day.
That’s crazy. Just get dropped off

I was thinking about the whole parking thing... It's been a sore spot since we started doing RAP at either the Marriott or Hilton... (Back when I was part of all of it)
First obvious answer is to carpool.. second is like Jim @moondoggy said, is take the bus from the Honda Center. LOTS of free parking there and the bus ride is probably 10 minutes and under $2.
There is also a Target a mile or so South on Harbor Blvd... You could park for free and take Uber for about $5 to the show...
There are ways around the high costs the hotels charge, but it might take a bit of imagination...
Personally, Im staying at the hotel for the weekend and will probably Uber in...

Aren't all of IM's larger tanks permanently "on sale" when purchased directly? Or would SWA's discounts be on top of the already discounted price from IM?
Almost all companies do not want to bring anything back so they sell at the end of the show for a fairly discounted price

I usually park at Garden Walk when I go there by myself, much cheaper than the hotels.

Anaheim recently discontinued the bus service around Disneyland to nearby hotels, so expect the price of parking to go up (already have).

My daughter had a 3 day volleyball tournament at the Anaheim convention center in May, and the major hotel parking in the center was $40-$60 per day. Even the Toy Story lot is $40 per day now.

They realized that there isn't much parking options left. Time to ride the bus! LOL. But the bus can be a pain, it only comes every 40 minutes. Carpool is probably another option. Meet up at someone's house nearby, and carpool together...but their schedules needs to be the same.

Booked a full day at the Hilton for twenty bucks—solid win. Big thanks to Chris for the spothero tip.

My wife offered to drop me off and spend the day wandering South Coast Plaza until I’m ready for pickup. At first that sounded perfect… but let’s be honest, that detour is guaranteed to cost me waaay more than parking ever would.

See you all there!

Those where the days. Frag where mini colonies. No hyped coral names. Bob fenner was the speaker for that 05 event.
Yes..... Bob was a true legend... And a great guy...
And because I will see him on Saturday, I'll let Marc Trimble (who was SCMAS President at the time) know you remember those days fondly...
He'll get a kick out of your memories...

Last year was a PITA they had a major convention next door and the police were doing the traffic control and closed just about every way getting in, and they are so rude, next time I enter off S. Harbor Blvd.

Maybe try the Anaheim convention center parking. I’m talking with Greg to see if there’s any parking discounts

Whoa, I remember going to these shows way back. I am just starting to come back into the hobby after a long hiatus. Man, has things changed in the last ten years. Wish I could go to the show though but I already blew most of my fun money for the year on the new system haha.
