Residue in water container...

I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt and it always leaves some whitish/brownish residue all over the inside of the mixing barrel after and I was wondering if I should clean it before I start making my next batch of water or is it ok to use even with the residue still inside the barrel? I used TMP before and I never had this issue. I just want to make sure its ok.Thanks in advance!

In my experience the residue is fine, but I would clean it because it gets stuck to the barrel really hard!!! I've had to scrub it really hard and even poured some vinegar because it was stuck on the barrel..

Thanks for the replies! Yea I think I'll clean it. I'm not too comfortable seeing white specks floating in the water :(
