Maybe a small or medium ecotech vectra? I love how silent and reliable mine have been over the years.

Do you need 0-10v control? App control? No control other than onboard? Budget? I think Jebao are a good option these days, as they've improved over the years. I also like the pumps Reef Breeders carries. I have the "Coral Box" from them on my nano and it's been very reliable. It has built in 0-10v control and comes with an assortment of fittings, which a lot of pumps do not. If my COR20 ever goes down on my 90g, I'll pick up a couple Coral Box DCA pumps for the price of one COR20. I haven't tried their Nautilus brand yet, but I'm very happy with the Coral Box pump, I would buy it again without hesitation.

Dc isn’t required. No one is changing settings on the pump once it’s going
Its is nice.... to help fine control the gate valve on your overflow... or if you have a controller and use the 0-10v for feed mode... but not needed.

Agreed on the controllability of DC pumps - I run mine full blast anyway. I feel that the only nice feature of going DC is that fact that you can connect to an UPS for extended runtime. I have MP40s on UPS but feel that S2/M2 return pumps may serve a better purpose for tank/sump recirculation.
