Söchting Oxydator : Anyone have experience using one?

I don't understand how it works and what it achieves. I don't know anyone that runs one of these, let us know how it goes. I'm guessing it is similar to ozone...so I guess why not just run ozone. I know plenty of people run ozone and works well.

You would be better off with opening a widow, co2 scrubber, or kalk. I’ve read ppl trying to do like o2 scrubbing at night Time to bring up ph. Very ineffective.

Are you monitoring DO now? Is your BIO level really high? Did a little reading on it, and it looked to be used in aquaculture farming with really hi BIO loads.. supposedly safer then Ozone. For me it seams like one more piece of equipment to maintain and add to the complexity.

Not monitoring at all.....bio is low. you are correct that its another piece of equipment....will pass on buying one.

Kalkwasser is your friend. You can see when my kalkstirrer broke and then when I fixed it. 1200 gallon system. Closed office space hardly any fresh air and I barely use any kalk to keep it at 8.1.
