It would be cool if we can meet at Dennys again lol. I was there on the very last meet and I thought it was really cool seeing everyone there. There was so many people there that night, the vibe was proper. I was bummed out to hear that the "in person" meeting is no more. I wonder why that's still the case, there's no more covid. Bummer

We do meet in person still. Just not under the SCMAS umbrella.
We meet every 2nd Friday of the month at Brewhem in Anaheim. 7pm..

Gotcha. Why can't we meet at Denny's under the SCMAS umbrella? I don't understand. The reason why I'm still complaining, lol, is because I wouldn't mind going but I can't, I'm a recovering addict it seemed like everyone was having a good time at Denny's. You don't need to drink to have a good time lol. Just kidding. Anyhoot, I'll wait for the Denny's meeting to resume again haha!

IHop, which is where the SCMAS meetings were held, not Denny's, i dont believe is as available as it once was.
I also know SCMAS has gone to more of an online only presence.
Many of the people from back in the SCMAS days, including Greg the president, are now finding themselves at our meetings at Brewheim.
We are our own entity.
While I understand your particular situation, Brewheim has graciously offered a portion of their facility for our monthly meetings. Not directly in the Taproom area, it is immediately adjacent. There are also NA beverages available as well as food trucks out the back.
We also do field trips semi-regularly as we just did last month.
I doubt that IHop will be a meeting place for SCMAS any time soon, but Greg has more to say about that than I do.
You are more than welcome to join us if you so chose at Brewheim. We arent all having a beer, but I understand if that might be an issue for you.
You are also welcome to join us at any of our other events we might have upcoming not at Brewheim.
Keep your eyes open for updates here about whatever we have going on.

You're right, I think it was Ihop in Santa Ana. It was such a long time ago lol. Thank you so much for the invite! It does sound like fun, just trying to avoid the heavy drinking scene.
