Very nice and simple set up. SCWD for alternate flow, only one pump. If you feed your ATS from overflow you can eliminate that feeder pump too. Either way, nice.

You built that box? That's what is keeping my new(4/5 months)set up in the garage. Figuring out ATS build. I'm not acrylic handy and quotes I've gotten were pretty crazy.

Blackout the area the lights aren't using would be nice too.

Just went back to look at sketch. You had it made. $?
Yeah I had it made it cost about 60 dollars.

Wow! I was getting quotes for just the acrylic cut to size at $75+ then I'd have to put together. Name of the shop? Location? Thanks

Seeing your build made me go stare at my tank in the garage for a minute. I even picked up a tape measure for fun. Then the lights on my other tanks popped on and I got distracted.

Thought of using current ATS on temp. tank but it's really cheesy. I did a good job on last tank. The guy that bought never saw such a thing and was amazed. Now I'm starting all over and really dragging my feet. Just got back from Hawaii and had some motivation. That quickly fizzled after going back to work. Thinking of the Bahamas in Jan./Feb. Lets hope I have it up before then. If not. I'll have a had a dry tank in my garage for a year.

Okay well it is time for a little update. I have had the scrubber running for a while now but never really fine tuned it so although it is working well it could be better since I still have some red algae on my sand in the DT.

I have added my first corals, a Birdsnest, GSP, Blue Tubb Zoa, and Watermelon Zoa. They are all doing great even though it took a little bit for me to find a good spot for the Birdsnest since it kept getting knocked over by my snail.

I also built a box to enclose the DIY LED Pendent since when I sit on the couch you get a nice shot of stray light from the LEDs. Not any more! I am going to paint it to match the stand later just doing test fitting for now.

On a bad note though looks like I have mold growing in my stand!!! I will have to clean it out with bleach and I ordered a fan from Amazon to increase air flow into the stand.
