Here’s a shot of 18 gallon shallow DT (frag tank).
I use the KISS approach with this tank, since I usually don’t have time or energy to do all the testing, or maintenance. Dosing Kalkwasser through the ATO reservoir, and trying to stay on top of water changes, maybe twice per month at best.
I swap out the chemipure blue every couple of months, feed coral twice per week, and feed my only two fish (clownfish) daily. Once in a while I’ll dose the Red Sea color program, usually after water changes, But mostly just try and enjoy starring at the coral from above.
