Hey SCRK!

It's time to kick off the new year with our 1st Southern California Reef Keepers meeting of 2012! Our membership drive and meeting will be held this Sunday, January 22nd at 6pm at Age of Aquariums. So come out and renew your membership as these are what keep our club functioning for the year. Membership for 2012 will be $25. We have retained most of our old sponsors, and should be announcing a few new ones at the meeting.

As usual we will have food and snacks (non-members are $5), a member frag tank to buy, sell, or trade your corals (MUST be a member), and a raffle with some live and dry goods.

If any of you would like to volunteer to help put these meetings together, contact speakers, etc. we could really use the help. Please feel free to email any ideas, contacts, anything you think might better our club as we are all for it.

When: Sunday, January 22nd from 6pm to 9pm
Where: Age of Aquariums
2642 Cherry Ave.
Signal Hill, CA 90755

See you this Sunday!

****If you have any frags or want to bring equipment to sell or trade post it here.

Here are some corals I can bring:

I have three frags of this teal blue paly, there are two this size and one a little smaller. Bigger = $7 ea, smaller = $5

Yellow polyps (long tenticles, bright yellow center) very fast grower. $3

Some nice zoas, green centers with sparkles and a pink ring. They are called "snowcone" I believe (I got the original colony from crystal) $10 for the 5 polyp, $14 for the 7 polyp one.

sinularia, brown/pinkish. The frag for sale is smaller than this, but looks similar $5.

Pink cloves (actually a polyp coral, grows fast, stretches long and sways in flow). It's a big sheet of it, but I can cut it up. $15 if someone wants it all, if it isn't selling at the meeting I will chop it up into smaller chunks.

Three frags of GSP, one is actually a totally encrusted plug, the other a golfball sized rock, the biggest about baseball sized but only partially encrusted with GSP. $2, $4 and $5

I also have a two head green branching hammer coral (LPS) $10

Memberships are for the calendar year but if you purchased in October we can reduce our membership fee. Just find me at the meeting and I'll mention it to Rob.See you Sunday.

OIC :ranger:

The meeting is on Sunday! We hope to see many of you come back... except maybe Esteban he is a pain in the arse! jk aqulove

We will definitely have quite a few live goods, t shirts, and misc. dry goods for the raffle. Snacks and sodas will be provided. It may rain but this meeting is rain or shine so come out for a little while, hang out, join the club, and geek out on fish nerd stuff.
