Hey Everyone!

I know everyone has been dying to get out to Age of Aquariums for a SCRK meeting right? Well here we are again! Our monthly meeting is this coming Sunday, May 15th, 2011.

We are still working on the speaker and/or demonstration so more details to follow!

As usual, we will have a raffle, food, and a member frag tank for buying, selling, and trading corals.

Update

This month we will have an awesome hands on presentation on glass tank drilling! For you DIY guys, or those who aren't so DIY, this may be the presentation for you so don't miss out!

SCRK has ordered a glass-holes.com complete overflow and return kit, basically everything you need to drill your own glass aquarium!

Age of Aquariums will be donating the 40 Breeder for our project, along with someone to do the drilling presentation for us. Thanks AoA as usual!

So guess what the "Grand Prize" at this month's meeting will be?

Oh sweet. I had fun being at the booth, helping the vendors setup, it was a cool experience. Hopefully next year MAX will be kind enough to donate another booth to our club. I believe RAP will be doing the same for us but we will still need to confirm with them.

Come by its a lot of fun.

We have accumulated quite a few sponsors, paid members ($25) receive 10-15% off at Age of Aquariums, 11% off at Reef Geek, 10% off at Capistrano Reef, and many others. Plus you will be fed each meeting so that alone is worth the membership. Each meeting with have a raffle with items bought by our club or donated by our sponsors. Usually we have a member only raffle with cool stuff that don't require a raffle ticket purchase. This month is a Maui Jim Sunglass 75% off GC, another month was an IVC Portal, etc.
