Its that time of the month again.
The next Southern California Reef Keepers meeting will be Sunday, July 20th, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Age of Aquariums in Signal Hill, CA !
If you haven't purchased your membership for 2014 we could really use the help! And at just $25 per year those funds goes along way to provide entertaining meetings, raffle prizes, food and snacks, speakers, etc. We'd like to try something new to spark new membership so if you bring someone new and they join the club, you will get 5 FREE raffle tickets for the referral.
This month the topic will be Do It Yourself (DIY) FRAG PLUGS!!!!!.
This will be a hands on meeting where all of our members will get to make there own frag plugs and discs. SCRK has purchased the clay, all we ask is for members to make a small donation to help pay for the firing process at the pottery shop so our creations can come to life!!!. The cost should be nominal but every little bit will help. This should be a lot of fun and definitely something we've never done before. This will be fun for everyone of all ages so bring the kids if you have them!
***We also have Adam Charlesworth, representative of API to talk about their testing products and donate some items to our raffle. Thanks!
RAFFLE! We are going to have another great raffle this month. Items include a Marine Magic Dosing Pump, Red Sea Test Kits, Coral RX and several other dry and live goods.
