Sell me on a fish!

there is a guy selling a pair of purple firefish on ebay right now.... he's in the los angeles area. only one bid so far with 3 days left... this is the third time he has been trying to sell them.

btw, i bought a catalina goby from pacific reef in fullerton for $20... love that guy. he likes to hide in the rocks and comes out every once in a while. it's kinda like a treat when you see him come out. he's a small guy at only about an inch or so, but he's orange with bluish purple stripes on his head. look him up on google... super cool looking fish for $20!

does your goby have any issues with the temperature? what does your tank run at? i love those things but they prefer cooler water so i have been hesitant to get one.

ANGLER a Red one!!!! Colorful as hell but you could only get a real small one for under $50.00 bucks

jon, my tank stays at about 76-78 all the time. i learned after i bought him that they prefer under 75, but it seems to be doing fine. he eats, and does his thing. he seems active and fine with my temp...

78 isn't bad, mine sits at 80, i think thats too much. very nice looking fish though.

I'm always so hesitant about eBay... I like to see things in person, but I may keep an eye on it at that price. He's in Torrence, wonder if he'd do pickup?

i'm sure he would since you are local. it's probably easier on him if you pick it up rather than to have him ship it.
