I know some of you sold skimmers, controllers and pumps through Ebay and was wondering what tips you can point out so I won't get ripped off from the buyers. I heard people reverse charging their credit cards through Pay Pal and the seller is left with nothing. Im about to sell a my Canon 70-200 IS f/2.8 lens

I posted this thread at RC but it got closed :( All I wanted was selling tips!!

Few people PM to try selling it here first before Ebay. I don't have photos of the lens yet but Im selling it for $1350 (Ebay completed listing average price is $1500) for a hardly used 2004 (I think the date is correct) no scratches, dents, dust inside the lens, original owner, warranty card, box and lens hood. You can easily resell it at Ebay for the same price or higher after using it for a few months. Ill post another for sale thread later

yea RC mods don't like you posting non reef related stuff lol

When I sell on ebay, I usually just trust paypal with my money.... I've never sold anything that high amount though so I know how you feel...

I don't think they can reverse charges... as long as you send it with return receipt or insurance that way you have a record that the seller received the item, then you should be fine.

Its one of Canon's premiere L lens

Here are the pictures someone requested. I showed up close pics of the lens to show there are no dust or scratches. Lens hood show very light wear. This len is the IS version which is more expensive than the non IS.
