Hey guys, been posting here for a year or two and jus realized I’ve never posted my tank. So here we go. Maybe I’ll update it as it evolves and turn this into somewhat of a tank journal. It’s basically a 50g - 24” cube. Been set up since 9/2020. Was a struggle with this system for the first year or so, I attribute that to using artificial rock instead of mature live rock like I had in all of my previous systems over the last 15+ years. But the tank is just now starting to round the corner and settle in. SPS have been coloring up nicely in recent weeks, probably because nutrients have stabilized below 10pm No3 and .10 po4. Will probably start adding a few acros in the coming months, other than that jus glooming for a few gonis and an og bounce and that’s probably it for stocking. Well, enough rambling for me - Hope everyone’s having a good weekend!

Frag rack has been filling up lately 😍 been really into the LPS lately. Still battling a bit of cyano but things seem to be growing well lately so I’m not worried about it. Chalices encrusting are starting to take off. These two should be fine when they eventually touch, right? 😰

Finally busted out the glue and secured some things in place. Moved some corals around and I like the placement a lot better now. Only room for a few more corals!

Tank update :)

Moved a few things around again. Still working on the left side. Added a yellow Hammer and a CSB :) leaving the nem in the box for now, probably gonna stay there until it splits then I’ll start a small island for them on the bottom left side where the GSP is now. Getting ready to turn the sump into a frag area so some things will be relocated down there soon to make more room for corals in the display.

So colorful, I love the zoas. Very relaxing just to see all that mix of corals, and the different colors.

Looks like it's time for a bigger tank. :) It's just jam packed with eye candy.
Thanks bro! Definitely gonna be time for an upgrade when we move out of this house. Just limited on space for now. But i am working on converting the sump to a mini frag tank ;)

time for another update on the tank…many changes since the last one. Mostly just new corals, sold a few things and added some pieces. Slight adjustment to the left side of the rock work. Building out a Goni garden on the right island at the moment, would like to add 3-4 more. Sunburst is still in the nem box but has gone much more orange and quadrupled in size 👍 Blue tang is gone and I added a Mystery Wrasse about 6 weeks ago who has quickly become my favorite fish 😍
