Are you asking about freshwater shrimps? If so I just started keeping them and driftwood with weeping moss so the shrimp can hide and breed. Sponge filter and good substrate for buffing the water.

I have one set up just a small ULM tank that started with 2 blue shrimp with some drift wood and some plants that looked cool to me lol. They are pretty easy as I just use tap water to fill there tank and now have a bunch after they spawned. Also have a hydroponics light over it.. they are super fun to watch in my opinion.
