Try putting the frag upside down into the sand. The polyps will grow like roots and stabilize it so the snails can’t knock it over.
Marvelous idea! lol

I'm on a BB tank so no sand to use your patent-pending method. What I'll do this time is to mount the plug onto a 3" plate, avoiding tip over. I heard that this species can grow into a colony in 2 months, right? ;)
