Green:
Lime in the Sky (has blue too) - Staghorn
John's humilis - neon green like slimer
ASD rainbow millepora or the like.

LPS:
Scoly
Blastos fat head variant
Some type of torch, love to find an aussie gold.

Softies:
Zoanthid islands - whatever grabs my eye, not a big name zoa guy.
Mushrooms - some kind I like.

Anemone:
Gigantea - Plan to try this again at some point down the line.

I got an awesome group of CUC in from reefcleaners, through Jojo's group buy. Rocks are starting to look a little more mature, got that green base color to them. Next should be spots of coraline algae. Getting ready to add some tester pieces soon.

Fish were released yesterday and no aggression so far.

Welp, CBB was stuck to the powerhead today. Even with the feeder. If I had to guess he got caught up in the bully battle between the Lamarcks and the Bristletooth tang, went to hide and got suck up in the 6105. Such a bummer.

I've said it a few times, but that'll be the last go around for me with them. Seen that about 10x too many since I started reef keeping.

That sucks. I always thought fishes were too smart and strong to get stuck onto a powerhead. But nope.

Thanks guys.
On the up side, I added a couple tester pieces from Jose Serrano, so it’s officially a reef tank again. I dipped in potassium chloride for the first time, and it seemed to work great. I saw pods/amphipods drop pretty quick so that’s a good sign.

I’ve got the tank flow settled in pretty good. Getting dimples across the sand bed without holes anywhere.

I brought alk up to 7.5
Nitrate is 10
Phosphate is .15

Solomon millepora needs some coloring up after the dip. It will be a great tester piece. Polyps are tight but out. If I start to see color over the next few months I’ll know I’m ready to start hunting the piece I want.

LRO Lunar Lemonade - a cool Bali shortcake type piece.

I plan to keep islands of zoas and shrooms with the remaining branch leftovers. I picked up some yodaz and stiggy Marley.

Pretty sure it’s a sun coral and not a dendro give me something to feed and check in on daily. No polyps yesterday so I force fed it some cyclops, slight polyp extension today and tonight polyps are out and fluffy. The skin is retracted on the branches, so I’m making an effort to get food to each head for now.

Thanks man! I keep getting photo memories of my previous tanks popping up on my phone, acros specifically. So many cool pieces, I'm looking forward to getting back to that point over the next few years.

Congrats man - that's a huge comeback!

Hey - if you want to be adventurous, Coral Anon is selling a green gig. I despise those guys (sounds like crooks to me) so not buying...BUT in case you want to gamble...lol

Thanks for the heads up. I've never heard of those guys before, looks like they're local but I didn't see an address listed on their site or FB? I know gigs struggle with shipping, I'll wait until I come across one locally down the road.
