I had the same issues with my purple tang, Copperband, and wrasses. I opted to feed more and that seemed to solve the aggressions. Im not sure if that is an option for your tank.

I'm feeding pretty heavy 4-5 times a day. for the tangs/cbb the mirror actually worked out great. I'm going to put it back up and see if maybe it will work for the wrasse as well. I plan on adding a purple and hippo from a buddies tank but I gotta hit him up and make sure he thinks they can hold their own in here. The PB can be pretty gnarly.

I think the Naoko will be okay, probably needs a little time. Actually it’s the one wrasse to look out for in the future once it’s settled, they tend to be aggressive towards other fairy wrasses. Hopefully they’ll all figure it out soon?
The great thing about Adam, is he really pays attention to the details when he sources your fish.

You were right. The naoko wrasse was out and about today. No obvious aggression from anyone except for the clowns but I was gone most of the day today.

I added a CSB from a local member today, a natural split with lineage to Sang Lee. This guy is extremely bright in person. I can't wait to see it tomorrow under daylight.

RRC Hellfire Enchinata. I've mounted it lower in the tank. TCK recommended a lower placement for more orange, gets more iridescent in higher par.

No namer piece I've got high hopes for. Looks pretty good under daylight too. This and the Brad's draw jopper I'm having trouble figuring out placement for.

dannnnng cherry bomb likes the new tank lol

how does the other one look that wasn't doing well? rainbow blossom?
About the same so far. Only time will tell though! I took this so I could judge whether is gets better or worse. Came out super blurry but it shows the color is really bad.

Looks amazing as always can you share your Kessil and t5 schedule please
Thanks.

kessils
ramp blue from 8:30-9 am
Then ramp power and color to 50/50 from 9-10
They run 50%/50% power/color from 10 until 7pm. This is just enough to get shimmer through t5s

t5
2 channel (True actinic) come on and blend with ramp of kessils @9am and stay on until dawn setting starts @ 6pm
8 channel comes on in combo with everything from 11am-5pm.

Front to back bulb layout is:
ATI Blue plus
Giesemann Aquablue
ATI True Actinic
Giesemann Tropic 6500
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Blue Plus
Giesemann Tropic 6500
ATI True Actinic
Giesemann Aquablue
ATI Blue Plus

That's giving a real nice 14k look to the tank during the day. I like it with the kessils all white but I'm going to ease into that.

Got a minute and tried to take some pictures of the fish. Still having issues with constant particles from the sand in the water column, I may try to turn down my flow a bit. You can see it in all the pictures:

Ornate in the group. Still surfs the glass most the day but since adding all the other fish he actually ventures into the rock work and acts somewhat normal.

Small leopard pics at rocks more than the tangs

Bangaii, I feel like I've taken this same picture in every system

Exquisite seems to have injured it's jaw. I did glue a bunch of stuff down hopefully he heals up.

Maybe the hobby's most underrated fairy wrasse, Lubbucks

Naoko seems a bit skinny. I ran out of mysis and brine, I don't think he's going for the LRS/rods

Pintail Wrasse. Not sure if it's the lighting or the addition of the other wrasses but his colors are great right now

My two favorite shots:
Sunset anthias female. The other two are looking like the may be transitioning to sub male

Lubbocks and Cleaner wrasse begging and the PB lurking in the backround with bad intentions

Looks great! The particles should go away after a while, it's mostly the fine stuff that hasn't settled yet. Use a filter sock or a power filter for a couple days and it should help. The Naoko does look a little skinny, but feeding throughout the day will probably help. I'm surprised that it didn't go for LRS, that's almost a guarantee feeding response when fed.

Looking good there. Fish colors are popping and I’m liking the coral placement.

Thanks man. Going pretty good so far although I do see RTN on two pieces, blossom isn’t much of surprise since it hasn’t been happy for a while but pink lemonade has me worried a bit.

I’ve been running floss but maybe I should throw a sock in there, probably work better. Maybe lower flow and let it all settle a bit.

yeah he goes for stuff but not as aggressively as others. I’m feeding a few times a day. If it doesn’t turn around maybe I’ll do a cycle of metro and focus to rule out anything internal.
Horrible timing with ATI on holiday but Ive got a bit of rtn popping up. Im tripping that it’s occurring right now with the house next door just being sold and now fumigating. My ATO is on the side of the house, I’m gonna run out and grab a poly pad and some carbon to run until I can get an ICP in the mail.

Yeah, I need to send off an ICP Wednesday, hopefully it's the normal turnaround? Random TN sucks! That's kinda where I've been this whole year. Now that I have everything out of my tank and in the temp tank, I'm really tempted to sell everything off and start fresh, minus a few pieces and all of my fish (and clams). I did lose my male anthias in the move, not sure what happened, but found him in a corner, probably just stress? The one thing that I'll say is, don't change anything because of one or two corals, especially if everything else looks great. That's a wormhole that leads to nowhere good. We want every piece to be 100%, but I find that's never the case and if it is, it's only temporary. Hopefully things will turn around for you though. Sorry, don't mean to be Donny Downer. Keep up posted. Tank looks awesome!

I hear ya on that. If I did a complete tank transfer and only lose 2 pieces it will be considered a success for sure. The pink lemonade is just so hardy it has me a little spooked.

I added 2 poly filter pads to one of my filter cups. I've never had one change colors but it'll give me some piece of mind. I'm actually out of ICP tests, gonna load up a moonshiner cart for an x mas gift to myself.

What is your experience with CBB? Hard to keep? and do they eat Cora/SPS? Will they be bullied by tangs?
I love them, sometimes they'll help with aiptasia control. Not easy to get eating from the water column but that's the only real challenge with keeping one. Some people seem to have the touch to get them to eat but I struggle. with it. This guy is only excepting live blood worms so far but for the most part is just grazing on pods ect in the tank.

They can get punked by tangs initially. Best bet would be to add them before or at least with the tangs. My powder brown was pretty relentless so I added a mirror to the side of the tank for 3 days and it worked great.

I've never had issues with sps and them but I've heard they can sometimes start to pick at meatier corals/ clams.
