Man. I’m starting to wish I just transferred everything into my new tank. Ah! It’s just sitting there! Lol

It'll pay off! Plus you got to get your rockscape exactly how you want it. Mines gonna be a work in progress for a minute. The front section I'd really like to cement together but are already encrusted with sps and don't want to risk it. I'm probably gonna try those aquamaxx plastic balls again and see if they'll hold.

Just couldn’t handle the obvious par loss with the AA cover so I had to modify it. I wonder if there is some kind of epoxy or glue I could mend the brs screen to the acrylic trim?

I have a brute trash can on wheels and a 60 gallon barrel you can barrow to switch tanks as well as some bins and plumbing bits.

Maybe @Goober will comment on how he did his. I know he sandwiched the screen between 2 frames he made him self and used tiny plastic thumb bolt to hold the frames together. It’s pretty clean looking.

Hope so. I thought about that but wasn't sure how hard it is to tap acrylic for threads.

Pictures came out super dark but I'm starting to get closer on my rockwork The front is stacked up on some smaller rocks for now but I want to try and bond them together with waterweld or those plastic beads to keep more flow going back under. Stumped as to where to put that shazam looking piece. I also need to build a trim on my wrasse tub so they stop kicking all the sand out.

My sunsets are doing really well. Not shy at all. I got a bunch of pictures of fish today but they are too large to upload.

I know he did tap/thread the acrylic. I believe he said it wasn’t hard but for all the holes he did it was tedious and time-consuming. When I made my skimmer neck cleaner I sandwiched the rubber squeegee between 2 pieces of black acrylic and tap/threaded 3 holes for that and it was time consuming for those 3 holes. I can’t even imagine how long it took Goober to do like 40 holes.
On this pic you can see the 3 plastic thumb bolts I used on my neck cleaner

Damn dude, thats badass! Is this manual or did you install some type of motor on it?

I know I'd get impatient and bust the damn thing on hole 37 or so

Thanks, its manual. Years back I made one that was auto. But the motors go bad way to fast being so close to salty air. I do have 4 1rmp motors in my tool box and could make it auto but I really don’t want to deal with that mess. I’m saving those motors for when a sea swirl motor goes out.

Stress from the transfer isn’t as obvious under blues but they all lost their wow under daylight. I’m locked in at 25ml alk and calcium so far. So glad my ancient BM doser still works! No word from GEO on my replacement parts yet. I’m sure it’ll be a bit.
