Did you find red bugs ? Why the interceptor? I’m with you on the larger snails, wreak havoc on small frags.

I did. I ran out of bayer and dipped with melafix on a few pieces a few weeks back. My nutrients have dropped way down and assumed that was my paling issue. Went to take some pictures of the change and BAM! little suckers all over one of the pieces. Lucking a cool reefer sold me some of his stock and I'm able to treat. First dose went very well and I see nothing. I'll do another next week, then two weeks later just to be safe.

Don't worry, your frags were clean hahaha
I don’t know a thing about photography. But seems like your really getting it nailed down. (y)
Thanks! I've been really trying to learn to shoot under blues. Someone gave me a orange gel filter that I cut out for my down tube and its working great. I also just got that macro lens that really helps to get the close up detail you can over look without it.

My reef fund is officially tapped after a TCK livesale. I'm about out of room now so the name of the game is let it grow and stay on husbandry from here on out.

TCK SuperSonic tenuis - I usually wont buy tenuis site unseen but these guys represent their corals very well. All the way from NY to CA and still have good color. Not much under day light but night is looking good

TCK DragonFire - hard to pass up a smoothie. Not the most colorful so far but I like the structure

RRC Hellfire Enchinata - hopefully I can pull the oranges out I've seen online. Smooth skin and orange with green coralites would be awesome to see. Questions is high or low?

And I finally got a cool picture under blues of this no name millepora

Thanks the pieces are very happy right now. Hopefully this bryopsis will die off with the single dose of flux. Then the 3rd and final dose of interceptor and my tank will be looking real good. I haven't seen a bug since the first dose.

I found a good amount of salt creep on the back of the tank around the external overflow. I'm not sure its coming from that, I think it may be coming from my lid. With it resting on top of the glass the splash works its way to the back wall and drains down right there. I'm going to be making a new screen lid this weekend that sits within the glass edges.

Dang. I’ve got a decent amount of salt creep around the backside of my stand running along the baseboards. It’s wet to the touch. I see a couple drip lines off my external overflow so I’m thinking that’s it but wondering if it’s the corner of the sump I cannot see as well. This will be my last tank with an external overflow that’s not glassed in. Argh! I see a bit of salt creep above my electrical compartment so I’m gonna need act quick.

I noticed my salinity is down slightly to 1.024 as well. Corals are all happy still

Oh no! Is everything ok?

Yeah I confirmed its from the external overflow. I'm thinking I may replace the hard pipe with flex tubing, basically I'm wondering if the hard pipe is overpowering the overflow box and causing a small twist or bow and letting the gaskets leak.

I think I'll be able to drain 25% and get below the overflow holes and see what's going on.

Some all blue channel pictures from tonight:
Hugo's Rainbow Stag is finally starting to shoot small nubs out the side

I can't wait to see this malaysian piece in a decent sized colony. Those inside polyps are so cool looking. I think once it gets some size the different colored polyps will stand out even more.

JF Jolt looks like its gonna be slow for me but those hints of red on the polyps are nice
