I have a group of 4 Carberryi Anthias and they are a great shoal. All are still female so not sure what they will do when one turns. I would recommend the carberryi if you can get some. I wish I had been cheep and gotten more.
Those look nice. I’ve seen them but was hesitant since it has a similar look to princess anthias and I had no luck getting them to eat. Yours took to eating pretty well then?

Dude! That sucks! Same happened to me earlier in the week. Lights went out and one of my baby blue tangs tried to go sleep in the mp60…didn’t work out for him.

Bah! That’s the worst. Seems like a rough way to go out

Yeah mine ate right away. They ate the first day at the LFS and were only there for 1 day before I took mine home.

You don’t feel any color change with mh vs the gen 5
Honestly a little too soon to tell. There hasn't been a major change positive or negative so far.

- under daylight it looks different because I'm now 14k compared to blue's AB+
- XHO/Radion - Looks very similar to all blue with maybe 50-75% UV/RB added. I'll say it's just as colorful as under my radions all B/RB/UV ramp down. I'd say more but I'm factoring in for the drastic change 14k/XHO.
- I experience immediate polyp extension increase 24/7. That fact that it was immediate tells me I was probably running my g5 blues too intense overall
- My consumption took a hit with the change. It dropped from 70 ml/m to I think around 50 ml/m on my kameor but has been steadily raising weekly. I'm back up to 60 ml/m now. I'm not sure if that's due to the lighting change or the too large for the tank tangs I added. I did notice my nitrates and phosphates were registering after adding them. Either way I'm writing it off as a change. My photoperiod is also shorter now because I'm not dimming the xho for ramps.
- My fans run about 50% more than with the radions. The fans are keeping the tank within 78.5-79.2F. My low is about 78F

I was able to speak with Tullio and he recommended I run the XHO along side the MH photoperiod to get teh best of both worlds. That was last week, prior I was just running xho 1 hour before and after and the 14K alone for 8 hours.

Overall I'm very happy with the swap so far. I feel like the tank looks more natural during the day and the fish look amazing. I don't need filters to take a picture during the day either, its a true representation of the coral. The fixture really does run true to their word as well, warm to the touch. Tullio said I should be okay running this on the 50x38" footprint but I think I'm going to stick with my original plan with the lumenbright large pendants.

Scopas tang. I noticed an issue today, he appears to have injured his mouth or gotten stung. He can't seem to close it? Or catch food, going to wait and see if it heals before I pull him.

A torch. Was very hard to find a spot in my tank where it wouldnt get blasted by light or flow. I'm hoping to get it out more in the open once I know it's adjusted

Damn major oversight when adjusting my calcium reactors needle valve. I closed it a little too much and my pH stayed at 7.4 since the night before last. DKH is currently 6 by salifert. Not good! I’ve done this once before with minimal casualties but it just sucks it happened again. Could be weeks before I see the aftermath.

my reactor keeps getting co2 (possibly air) stuck at the top. Then it gets sucked up and makes my pump stall momentarily and get loud.
I turned it off co2 for the night and must have not adjusted properly when I opened it back up in the am.

I’ve also noticed my bubbles aren’t one larger one like I’m used to. No matter how I adjust I get two to three smaller bubbles in a group now. PSI is 15. I tried lowering it to 10 and think maybe that’s where the mistake occurred.
