Hey guys,

We just signed up with Clary Solar to install a solar system at our house. The system was very affordable after the tax credits and rebates, which takes approximately half of the cost off of your hands.
If you haven't already, I suggest that you look into the pricing of a system that will lessen or eliminate the cost of running your tanks.

My house uses on average 1,200 kWh per month and is in tier 5 of SDG&E's pricing during some months. We have a regular monthly bill of $300. With Clary Solar, we plan on being in SDG&E's first tier and paying only $16 dollars per month; that's $3,400 in savings annually. Think about all of the acanthastreas you can buy with that! Our system will pay itself off in 6 years. The cost of electricity in The United States is estimated to increase %3.5 every year for years to come due to escalation; this would mean that we would be subject to an additional cost of $125+ per year, every year, if we didn't move to solar. In other words if we kept paying $3,400 per month along with the 3.5% yearly increase, we will pay SDG&E $145,060 in the next 25 years. However, when we add the 3.5% to the $192 annual cost after we install the system; 25 years down the road, we will pay SDG&E only $7,392. This a a total savings of $108,668 including the cost of the system over the next 25 years.

Solar doesn't just reduce cost's, it is an investment that will drastically increase the value of your home. Our system costs $26,000 after tax credits and adds immediately $65,000 to our homes resale value.

As a result of this solar system, our CO2 emissions over the next 25 will be cut by 405,433 lb. This is the equivalent to planting 3.5 acres of trees or taking 2 cars off of the road for 25 years.

If you plan on staying in your house for more than 6 years or want to increase the selling price to sell it consider solar! It is a great investment and will lessen your impact on the environment and your wallet.
PM Me or post with any questions! Our experience with them has been great!
They do local installs in SD SF LA and Palm Desert, and can also ship nationwide for those of you not on the west coast.
