I’m noob to this hobby, the picture of the tank is half the coral. The other half in the trash can lol. Need an expert to teach me how to keep torch alive lol.

Nice setup — I would get the basics down first before pouring money down the drain. Start with stabilizing your parameters first.

If your torches are dying and your params are stable, I would look into dipping them: you probably got bugs! I just dipped mine today — that’s from one 2-heads Dragon Soul.

Torch are weird. Recently they decide to separate the head from the bone and fly off. There is no dead smell but just fly off. Anyone know why?

Great job! Tanks looks great, esp those 3D printed stuff - the torch mount is cool.

I would check to make sure params are stable, LPS/torches in general like magnesium to be on the high side - 1400’ish. Like I said - check for bugs. Try dipping them in Revive?

I have them all dip there are no bugs, I’ll try testing magnesium levels. Never test my magnesium since day 1…..

Raise alk a bit, if magnesium is low it’ll kept both alk and calcium low as well.

I have 2 yellow, 1 gem, and 1 purple, along with a bunch other ones in the 93g lagoon temporarily. They will all be moved to the 450g later, along with others. The 450g is now fallow for 76 days. I got hit with velvet and lost many matured angels and two prized ones: Gem & Koi Tangs!

Current situation— so “peaceful” without any fish! lol

You’ll need a hospital tank and treat it with Cipro for 2wks then move to DT.

Yeah — need nemguards since they move a lot.

You need a big tank and SAND.

That said, my Lagoon is BB and they’re doing ok. They still move though, with or without sand! lol

What powerhead do you have? My son 3D printed ones for MP40s and they work great! The red Haddoni wrapped around it twice and made it thru.

Once of these days, I’ll go with strong returns and no longer wavemakers inside the tank. I only have one MP40 now. It’s too scary shredding a full size Haddoni
