Tank is about 3 months old. What is this purplish stuff growing on rocks and how did it get here?

Are your sure they don’t move? If you hit it with a blast from a turkey Baster- do they come off?

photos looks to me looks like flat worms. But if they dont move them maybe not.

if it is flat worms- I have had some that were similar, and they were resistant to flat worm exit. The rocks and corals needed regular dipping in coralRX or something similar to eventually rid them from the tank.

Yea, definitely not flat worms. It’s growing in the rocks.

Probably coralline, might be the lighting making the color seem a little weird but I think you should be alright, keep an eye on it though. Do more research just to be on the safe side
