All of my Lps are being devoured by a white fungus..... it is on EVERY piece of LPS I have. it appears near the base of any LPS, and begins to devour it from the outside in. its on my hamers/torches/frogspawn/mazebrain (RIP)/favia's everything. once it starts I have been unable to stop it. I'll post pics up shortly. I'm setting up a qt tank so I can heavily dose whatever is suggested. nothing new has been added to tank in months. only thing I have for treatment right now is brightwell iodine, but I can pickup anything thats suggested if I can find it.

These two pieses started showing it yesterday evening, and this morning 3 heads of my purple torch are almost 100% gone and almost 1/8th of an 'unknown' lps are already destroyed.

here you can see the 'fungus' around the base of each head [pic from last night]

here it is this morning [see how fast it destroys. this is happening to every Lps in the tank]

unknown last night

this morning [already has spread]

go on RC and look for black bugs... i just read that thread... or i forgot who had them once... i think jay or sahn had them...

you're going to have to use interceptor...

from the pictures it looks just like how they discribed their LPS dieing off...

look under them for some black bugs... i never saw a picture...

anyways... good luck....

yep, someone linked me the thread on RC. I posted a pic of the f*ckers on another site a few weeks ago when my 1st lps died. wish someone woulda caught it then. treatment started last night. 14hrs into it, a few items are looking better, most are so far unchanged, but don't seem any worse. I do still see some of the bugs alive thou, so I'm trying to find a second dose..... :dontknow: (ANYONE?)

I'll try to get a pic of them, but the point-n-shoot only does so good

yea, I actually have already written off everything in the tank, so anything that survives will be a x-mas miracle. some of the items lost include an orange frogspawn, nuclear green torch, maze brain......

I was able to locate a 2nd dose for a followup treatment. will keep this updated, and upload the best pic I was able to get of the little bastards

this is the pic I 1st took when I starting seeing rapidly declining health (sorry for pic quality, they are SUPER tiny, like 1-2mm and the point-n-shoot only does so much)

here you can see them comming outa the skelton of my maze brain when treatment was started (the tiny black specks)

They look like the ones that are attracted to montis. Just like the red bugs but black. if so they are no harm to any coral except montis.

continuing treatment...dangit. lost a couple heads of torch and frogspawn overnight, and I'm seeing the bastards again.
