Hello, been thinking about DIYing a copepod culture and I read somewhere that spirulina is an ok alternative to live cultured phyto? Curious if anyone has any experience using it as I’d like to lighten my workload and won’t be able to realistically upkeep a copepod and phyto culture. Any input is appreciated!

I would recommend using a prepared phytoplankton product such as Phytofeast by reef nutrition. It would provide a better nutritional profile for your pods which in turn is a more nutritious food for your corals and fish.
