SPS Green Millie ?

I have a 6 inch SPS/green millie...one of my crabs knocked it on to my elegance coral and it was most likely getting stung all day. The Millie got stung up pretty bad and I'm wondering if I should cut off the fingers where it was stung and is now dieing or just leave it. I heard the dead parts will grow algae and cause problems down the line. Also if I do cut it what should I use? Band saw or clippers? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What would you use to clip it? I've never cut up an SPS

Scissors wouldn't cut cleanly use those like bush/tree trimmers tht look like giant scissors and make sure their sharp

You need to pick up some bone cutters from your local fish store. Should be about $15-$20
