Royal Exclusive Alpha 200 skimmer
and lots of Tropic Marin Pro Reef saltmix

are you guys able to get any of that stuff? As you already know I need to find a new source for goods. I like to support local before going online to buy, so let me know.

I agree that this could have been done through PM's but I can't help but think people on this particular board are going to hassle rmor on any post due to his beef with Tom. I'm indifferent to that situation but there's no reason to come on his threads and make remarks obviously referring to it.

And yes I think rmor probably posted the thread to irritate Tom. No beef with you rmor just stating the obvious. You are having problems with him and he happens to be a large presence on this board. Probably not the best place to look for sympathy.

I'm not looking for sympathy, don't need it. I realize that this site is dominated by one clique, but for every one of toms groupies, there are probably at least 10 other people just browsing through the threads and may never even make a post.
As far as the discount thing goes... not geared towards Paramecium.... yes I passed business 101 in college and learned there is absolutely nothing wrong with negotiating items which cost hundreds of dollars+. The past 3-weeks I purchased many small items including from SoCal including: Rods Food, Amquel+, Tropic Marin Pro bucket x2, Kent glass scraper, SuperBac all for the price he rung me up for. I wonder if the people who are making fun of me about "discounting," pay sticker price for cars they buy new???

Thank you, I appreciate that... In fact this was the EXACT reason why I posted to sps4mytank and reefplanet on a public forum and not a pm. I figured there may be some other lfs out there which may chime in because fortunately for me, the economy has not effected my line of work and I am still out there spending a lot. I will look into OC Aquatic and PM sps4mytank now.

I am not looking to start back up what was ended last night.... we'll see, I think the clique thrives on it so it is probably unlikely....

No one cares if your line of work has not been effected by the economy, nor how much money you plan on spending. You created this thread with the sole purpose of rubbing it in toms face that you are looking to buy some equipment and not from him.

Im not part of any "clique land" and fyi Socaltropical isn't even my lfs.

The intention of this thread was to perpetuate drama since the previous thread was closed. Rmor could have simply used PM as a form of contacting Jay and Tony for equipment. If Rmor was serious about finding another LFS he could have used the advertisers on this site or the LFS feedback as a means of finding another lfs.
