Ok, finally cleaned the glass and did a WC. Here is my November update. Had to moved the ruler down to the base of the plug for more stability for the photo. Both of the MP40 and Tunze had the ruler pushed around when trying to take the photo. Frag got some encrusting and there are some vertical growth. The muted blue/purple are beginning to lighten up.
Damn man! At first i didnt realize you placed the ruler differently haha. But that is still some great growth and coloration!

@BeanMachine Colors looking good man.

I need to hit him up again. I was gonna trade him some acros for his time but then we both fell off. Now I'm thinking I'll wait until I 100% my tanks clean

watch the rules in 1st post of this contest thread people....

Progress submissions: You must take a and post a starting photo on or before October 17 and a progress photo in the last 7 days of each month. The photo must have your contest ruler positioned parallel to your coral in close proximity with the MM scale closest to the coral and the 1CM mark close to the lowest portion of live tissue. Just for fun, we used a ruler and calipers and cut each frag to within a few tenthousanths of an inch.

Lol missed that. Not sure why it starts at 1cm mark. No wonder we are all over the place. 90% of us didn’t measure it that way

To make it easer for me to judge at the end. I’m not DQing anyone for that one.

We are seeing some nice growth guys.

I got some clarity on what this frag is, I’m about 99% sure it’s a myogi tort, I‘ll have to find my liniage over at another forum before I can call it anything other than Myogi like.

It came from a guy named Marc who’s tank split about 2 years ago and he got it from battlecorals.

It could be a Mayogi Tort, but it looks a tad different than the one I have. The shape is very similar, but the Mayogi that I have is green on the base with a purple tip. This one his a green tip... or at least mine does.
