Not sure what's going on with Mama Sunkist. It started getting this white jelly stuff close to it's mouth and looks like it's shrinking. Is it melting or splitting? I've seen the sunkist split before and it never had this white stuff. If it's melting, what can I do to treat it. Thanks.

It's dying. That exact same thing happened to my sunkist recently. No other bounces were affected, only the sunkist. In retrospect, i wish i would have been proactive and dipped it in some anti bacterial coral dip and moved it to a shaded area.

Oh man, that's sad news. Any tips on saving? It was next to my OG bounce, should I be worried? I tried giving some AB+, it curls up for the feeding but you can see the white stuff more on the foot.

Thanks for asking. Monitoring the OG, I don't see the brown stuff anymore. Hopefully he's ok. Sunkist, I dipped in Chemi Clean and a couple of days Reef Primer. It still looks the same. It still expands and when it does the white stuff is smaller. Not sure if that's a good sign. Still hoping...

Would you say the melting process stoped? Any effects you saw?
