I ran a 36" 6 lamp ati with reefbrite on a 36x24x20.

Currently I run a 24" 8 lamp ati with reefbrite on a 24x24x24.

T5 all the way.

my concern if I stick with the t5 is it enough coverage /par since its 24 6 lamps should I add a reefbrite or jump to 36 6/8 lamps?

Are you planning on scaping the whole length of your tank? More then likely not. Having an 8 lamp does give you a little, more option in lamp selection. Another benefit of an 8lamp is that I can have it at any height, without having to worry bout "coverage". 8 lamp are harder to find, unless buying new.

I am not going to get into PAR and all the, other arguments. I'll have enough problems with trying to keep **** alive amd happy .

I say stick with what you have and upgrade when something better comes along.
