I want one! Damn these little fascinating buggers. On a side note, who has kept a feather duster type worm for an extended period of time. What's in the secret sauce?

2 coco worms 1 feather duster coming up on a year - phyto - reef roids - semi high flow - they are just about always out and fully expanded - the feather duster more so.. so far so good.

I've had mine for 6 months.

The secret sauce is probably running your tank with minimal mechanical filters, and feeding fine foods/pods. And have a bit of silicates in your water where it allows diatom to grow/bloom. That's how I'm running mine.

What does extended period of time mean? 12+ months?

Those nems are awesome! I would love to set up something with just a gig. I have a pair of F1's that I got from @jamie1210 that would look awesome in a gig by themselves. Do I dare go down that rabbithole?
Definitely do it! Watching a healthy gigs polyps waving in the flow is so satisfying.
