So im thinking my next tank Dims are gonna be 10' x 2' x 2' and i was curious if any has tank dims of the same or close. One i would love to see how it looks and if you have a build thread. Also really interested in the approx. cost of a tank like this. I may even get starphire front... I know theres a lot of tank manufactures on here so just ball park #'s would be really helpful. Havent decided on how many overflows and holes and such. Gonna figure that out as i see others setup and how they work out.

i just posted my tank that 8'2'2 not 10'2'2' but you can get a good ideal of the size.
my tank has 10 returns(8 from the c/loop) and 4 from sump return. center over flow. ps 10'2'2' is 300. gal's 2'2'2'cube is = 60 gal's. hope this help you out in anyway.

I like your setup. So i take it the closed loops allow you to replace the need for power heads? Do you still run some kind of wave maker or anything?

I know theres gotta be others out there with 8'+ tanks

That a be for the shark tank after....
You plan on housing a shark in this 10'x2'x2'? Any shark will get longer than 24" so how do you expect it to turn around? Sharks should not be kept in any home aquarium.

If your serious about getting a tank this size or whatever size, call up your lfs and get an actual quote. I doubt your going to get a legit quote from fellow reefers, especially with a tank of this size.

That was a response as to why not go wider on the reef... The reef im looking for 24" but later on the shark tank would be wider............

this pic is of my wavemaker. it rotates between the 8 returns. top left and bottom right go at the same time and then top right and bottom left go at the same time that happens every 7 seconds and so on.
