Looking for Tank Tour volunteers
First off, this thread will be locked after this posting, so as to avoid any problems, with hi-jacking, or other politics, (mine or yours). (thanks Mikee)
Also, sorry for the confusion as the plans have changed, and now they have changed back to the original plans to tour the southland
I will be having an out of town guest coming the week of April 2nd, to speak at MAX. Marc Levenson will be here, and has asked me to drive him around the southland to see some local tanks and Reefers. He has asked me to find some folks and some LFS that maybe interested in his coming on by to see what you got going on (you do not need a tank of the month. REALLY!! He dont care about that as much as really wanting to get out and around to meet YOU)
This is a huge opportunity for me to spend some time with someone in the Know', and I was hoping to find others that may feel the same way.
At this point, I want to find a list of folks who may be interested, then compiling them into a geographical friendly map to make our adventure through the southland less freeway, and more of your tanks.
We will also be hitting up some LFS along the route. And maybe at least one wholesalers. So, if you want us to visit your store, let us know also..
PLEASE, DO NOT LET POLITICS SPOIL THIS OPPORTUNITY TO MEET SOMEONE AND HAVE THEM COME TO YOUR HOUSE.
I will drive him, WHEREVER HE WANTS TO GO. I will merely present him with a list of folks and let him pick and choose.
(if you really dont want me in your house, I can wait outside in the car)
I am hoping to budget the time at anyones house to about hour. (enough for a cold beer). Some talking, some pictures, and then hit the road to the next place.
Once we get a list, and a map, I will contact you directly, and let you know when to expect us.
To make this easier and more efficient, we will need some folks to be available during the daytime on Thursday, and Friday, as well as in the evenings
Please let me know, if you are available, and what time is your preference, (and maybe a second timeframe if we cant make the first)
And, I really mean, the SOUTHLAND. It can be high desert , Ventura, or even San Diego I need options and people/tanks to make this work, so the more possible locations/tanks to see, the better it will be for him to spend less time in the car with me, and more time in your house with you and your tank
