The tank is 3 years old. I moved home’s and approx 1 month after resetting up the tank I noticed the front seam starting to separate at the top corner. See photos attached. The tank is in PERFECT condition otherwise. I purchased a new tank to replace it and need it going. System is FULLY COMPLETE. Sump and Black Stand included. YOU MUST PICKUP. You need a minimum of 2 guys and a truck.

I need this tank gone by Thursday. Located in Moorpark CA

PM me ASAP.

Seems like it's luck of the draw with the stands. Some just dont seem to hold up/support the front length correctly.

Good luck, hopefully someone is down for the task!

Deal of a lifetime? Is it free? There is no price posted.

FWIW I just resealed my sump and it was actually very easy to do. It sounds scary, but resealing this would cost like $15 in materials and could be done in 2 hours.

Edit- oops. I should have read the entire title. My bad. I'm a bit out of it the last couple weeks.

Why does so many Red Sea tanks have split seams ? It's so scary to think about it. Damn....

Great DIY project. But Not for me. Good luck to the new owner.
Def AGREE! Why the heck do Red Sea tanks always have issues with leaks?. I've read so many stories on so many forums about this issue...

Glad I went with a UNS tank. 45 degree class cuts! The best design to fight leaks!

Anywho. Bump for the OP! This is def a SMACK DOWN OFFER

Wish I had DIY skills to glue this back together, but I don’t. This will be a great deal for someone with skills.

OP got lucky because that seam was going to pop. I would not use their stand, it’s too flimsy after a few years and some water gets to it.

If you get it, I can help you silicone it. It really is so much easier then you think it is. The right silicone, some wax paper, blue painters masking tape. Two weeks to cure. It really is so much easier then I thought it would be to replace panels.

I would take the tank, but I just got a Waterbox 220.6 and it's still empty.
