Where has this tool been my entire reefing life? This is a must have for anyone who hates using a scrapper than a cleaning pad. The Flipper is the best of both worlds without using two tools. I was concerned with it's ability to remove hard algae. No problem. It cleaned up the hard to get corners. Flip the scraper to the cleaning pad and it polishes the glass. Love this tool!

They r pretty cool. Lindsey told me about them a few months back but they still haven't released the size I need for my 300. The mid size will work ok but I'm waiting from them to bring out the large one

If they could only be automated like the robot vacuums...the 300g would be a breeze.

I have to get me one of those. I can't reach a couple corners. Weird angles from the back side of my tank and the limited footing.

Mine arrived on Saturday, what a great little device and the pad does much better than the old one I had. Before it took multiple back and forth to clean one area, this works great.

I have one too! One of the best "Tank" investments I have made in a while. I particular appreciate the low profile which allows me to get under the power cord of my MP40's.

What thickness are your guys' tanks? Or how many gallons are your tanks? I've tried two with not the greatest results but my glass is 1/2". Wouldn't come close to scraping coraline off.

Deng I was going to get it for my 1/2" thick glass never mind then. It's suppose to work up to 1/2" though

I have a 120 with 1/2" glass and it seems to work well for me. I've found that the blade works best for me when using short repetitive motions. I clean the line along my sand bed and all the corners with great success!

I had heard there are some counterfeits out there that do not work nearly as well.

Interesting... mine are straight from the company. Coraline as well? I just feel the magnets aren't strong enough so you don't get the pressure needed.

Hey Cody. There are plans by the company to release a large model. Lindsey told me about them a few months back I was going to order one but she told me to hold off until the large model comes out.

I'm wiping down, using the both sides of the scrapper/cleaner quite often and never really dealt with large patches of coraline. Mostly small pink dots or the green specs you find on the glass, but I can definitely see how it might not have enough magnetic strength to scrape down significant coraline.

I just got one of these and... OMG! One of the best inventions for reef tanks. I don't even use the scrubber side, just the scraper. Takes care of all the hard algae stuck on the glass specially on the sand bed line. Best bang for the buck!

Maybe it was just Cody's particular flipper. I borrowed his hoping it would be great. He warned me it was a piece of crap and he was right. It did not clean anything off the glass, I sent it back to him. I was really hoping it would work well. With all of you singing its praises maybe it was an individual item problem.

I didn't clean off coralline, but for algae I've never seen better. It gets it with one scrape. I've used other magnetic ones and hated them, scrub scrub scrub....
