Pretty much at this point everyone has an opinion and no one needs to state theirs. If People don't want to support him, don't go to his show but all the bickering is doing is justifying why I don't come on the forum much anymore. The argument isn't 100% kevins fault, although it all revolves around him. The lack of enthusiasm to come on the forum anymore for a lot of people lies on anyone who wants to continue to peck at kevin to get a response when we all know what it's gonna be. Grow up and walk away. Let your attendance, your money or your participation do the talking as that will get you better results of accomplishing what you hope happens then sit here and waste your time bitching and complaining does.

Your show WAS bad , my family was bored to death they went to go pet the animals at barn and went to swap meet (lol) they only lasted half hour inside!!!(The have been to RAP twice)I will not be attending max next if you want black list me right now your doing me a favor (p.s been in hobby for decade)
Yea, I had heard that you and Chance had split under bad terms. Sorry to hear. Partnerships are by far the most challenging business arrangements because of the inherent stressors involved (financial, emotional, and physiological all rolled into one) It is something they mentioned in grad school that I will always remember: Parnerships are like marriages, only worse.....not only are you intimately involved in every aspect of running the business, but must concur on every decision no matter how big or small the issue. Just imagine having to follow your wife around everytime she goes clothes shopping, and then being forced your input on every dress, slip, sock, underwear piece, etc. You'd drive each other mad!
I can't play sides as I know very little about either of you two (I mean, at the personal level) but I do know that neither of you are crooks, murderers, or rapists, LOL, so all is good.
In all seriousness though, Chance did inform me of your breakup but never attemped to coerce me into barring you from the show. All is good.....unless I misspell your name badge? LOL

So your opinion is that you avoid this forum because of bickering, 100% of which revolves around Kevin, due to every single other user on this forum being childish and needing to "grow up and walk away" when he goes on his regularly scheduled meltdowns. That seems like an odd interpretation of reality, but whatever works for you...

I think you missed the point of what this thread is really about. You should go back and reread this thread and see if you can figure out what everyone is telling you. It's painfully clear to everyone but you unfortunately.

Interpreting reality.....HAHAHA. REALITY is the fact that whenever he posts something you call a meltdown, what is it that you and a few others do? You come on here and argue and try to bad mouth the guy even more so please explain to me how what you are doing is any different than what he is doing? He expressing his opinion how he wants and so are you. All the while he's probably sitting at home laughing at all you getting riled up by what he has to say. I highly doubt he will ever lose an ounce of sleep over any of your opinions and he's made that pretty clear.
He may not lose an ounce of sleep but he prides himself on doing something good for the community by putting on this show. I can't even imagine how much time and work he and his wife put in to make the show happen throughout the year. The issue is that the because of how he handles and communicates with members of this reef community the show seems to be going down hill and may not be around much longer. This would be bad for everyone in the community.
Most of the successful business owners in this community have the thinking of making customers happy and treating them well. That is how you get repeat business and good word of mouth advertising. I hope there will be some changes so that MAX can get stronger and continue going on for years to come. Look what happened with RAP. The guys who run it treat people well and look how huge is has grown in just a few short years. Not just the local OC RAP, but also now with NY and FL shows as well. You treat people right and with respect (on and off the forums) and it will work out well for everyone. You put people down and call them not smart and unreasonable and well the opposite happens.
