Have no fear! Algaefix marine works great at eradicating hair algae.
This was my 2nd time with this product, first time was a few years ago with a different aquarium. Both times did a wonderful job with no effect on any livestock.
This time I tried to knock it out naturally spending hundreds of dollars in snails, hermits, other CUC’s and manual removal with no success. I bit the bullet and picked up a bottle for <$20 after a 2-3 month long battle.
Just have to be consistent and dose every 3 days, I did 1ml per 10g. Today I can say I am finally hair algae free.!! I won’t lie, it took almost 2 months of dosing 5ml every 3 days but it worked!
Wish I took some before photos, I had a few really bad patches of it.
