Super sad to hear .. i was at The Reef in Anaheim the other day and "T" the told me. His wife is family of the Tongs family...
Small world... Hope they can come back from this..
T at The Reef burned probably 20 years ago too and rebuilt... Got my fingers crossed for them...

Very unfortunate. That's been my local go to for about 20 years. Store wasn't perfect orcthe best, but fish selection was always great. You could almost find anything you were looking for. Age of aquariums by default lol
Drove down from Santa Monica for most of my reef stuff in 2006-2010. Hope they get a nice big new store.

Not surprise because they never took care of the wiring to make it safe the lights dangle over the tank not well secure and I remember one time the lights was in the water.
Hopeful they open back up but that was a huge brick and mortar location, and seems like things are slow currently so not sure if they will? For a while there, the sps and mix displays on the back wall were pretty rad. Scored some real gems out of there.

2003-2005 that store was FIRE! Sorry bad pun.
People would drive from all over. There would be lines around the block for sales. I saw fish I had only ever seen there. It had an amazing run.
