I’m a little dense with camera lingo. I’m assuming you mean the body. I have. Rebel t7

Rebel T7 means you're likely looking for EF and EF-S lenses.

Different cameras (even from same manufacturer, depending on model age) use different mounts to mate the lens to the body.
