IEMAS & TRFS 2nd annual Grow contest!

Pre-qualifications:
1.Post a pic of your tank & coral on this thread. This verifies you are able to take decent pics for the contest!
2. Give us a Brief overview of your setup
-Lighting
-Filtration
-Gallons
-Feeding habbits + Livestock
-What you dose

3. 10$ per frag buy-in or all 3 frags for 25$. There will be 1 sps variety, 1 LPS, and 1 zoa variety. WYSIWYG photos will be up shortly. Add your name to the list to sign up. Only 1 frag of each variety per participant.

Contest Rules:
1.Post a pic of your frag within 48hrs of receiving it. Use a tape measure or ruler in picture to show us all your starting frag size.
2. Post a pic every once a month with measurement if possible to show growth. (No EXCEPTIONS)
3.Try and keep a log so we can share tips and pointers in the end.
4. Try and be nice.

Prizes:
There is a grand prize per division, there are 3 divisions- SPS, LPS, and Zoas. Not to mention the bragging rights.
Grand Prize SPS grower- $50 Gift Certificate to TRFS
Grand Prize LPS grower- $50 Gift Certificate to TRFS
Grand Prize Zoa grower- $50 Gift Certificate to TRFS



The Grand prize will be awarded to the person who is voted to have the best looking frag or hopefully colony by the contest end date 12/24/13. The winner of the Grand Prize won't necessarily be just the best growth but also judged on color and growth formation. Everyone on the forums will have a chance to vote!
Contest frags will be handed out from 5/24 - 5/26. We will have a BBQ & kick back day on Sat. 5/25.

Frags will need to be picked up from Jason at TRFS. Pick up will be from 11am-7pm.

Gotta get the colonies in, acclimate, frag them up, and let the frags heal- so about 2 weeks of healing after the colonies actually come in (next week)

-Feeding habbits: New Life Spectrum. Cyclopeez every other day, wicked Feast every other day. Using Julian Sprungs thing to feed corals
- Livestock: Powder Blue Tang, borbonious Anthias, Falco Hawk, 2 false percs, 2 chromis, 3 BTAs, some zoas, lps, and 2 pieces of SPS
-What you dose: ESV 2 part, iodine, Biodigest, bioptim
-Throwing this in there as well - Saltwater: ESV for water changes 10g every 2 weeks

Feeding: nori all day, and ramdom selection of mysis, fish roe, wickedfeast, rods regular, formula 1&2 RDF. for corals: oysterfeast and golden pearls.
Dose: CAL, ALK and MAG on GHL profilux doser.
