I hope the will help some of you members with any questions you may have with a trident.
—-Disclaimer ——
I’m no where near an expert at using the trident yet. I’ve just hooked it up and it’s just now doing it’s first tests. But I did clean and replace a few of the lines on this trident.

So first thing first is the trident needs to be emptied of any reagents and disconnected from apex and line for sample and waste. After there’s no reagents go ahead and leave the reagent tray off to the side. Now hold the unit upside down you will see 4 rubber feet. Spin those counter clockwise there are tiny screws in these feet that hold the cover on.

Now that you have all four screws off you need to pull the sides of the of the cover outwards. You will actually need to use a little bit of force so but like it’s a new born. Naw, treat it like the miss and flip her and smack dat a—. Ok as your pulling outwards on the side of the cover also lift up. This will allow the cover to just come right off.

Now is a great time to take a few pictures of the internal works of the trident. I take pictures so that if I forget how something went I have a pic to show me how it was before I destroyed it.

First you need to take off the pieces of black tape that hold the reagent lines to the framing of the trident. (Shown with blue arrows) Now you will see a plastic clip on each side of the base plate (shown with red arrow)

If you put a slight outward pressure on these clips the frame will come right off the base plate

Now that the base plate if off side it to the side for cleaning. Now if you turn the unit upside down you will see a 6pin white electronic wire connection. Shown with blue arrow, it’s connected to the wire that’s pointed with red arrow

It’s a good idea to get a pic of this connection you you will know witch way it needs to be reconnected when comes time to re-assemble. (My dumbs— didn’t get a pic but it was in the video I make)
After that cord is disconnected now flip the unit right side up and disconnect this tubing

It needs to be disconnected at the hose barb that the blue arrows highlighted.
Now the framing can be disconnected from the pump and calibrator switches you now need to hold the unit as if you where shuffling a deck of cards. With finger tips at bottom edge and thumbs where the green arrow is pointing.

Gently pull the sides outwards and the pump and calibrator switches will fall right out.
