Trident NP Calibration

I was wondering if anyone has the Trident NP and if they calibrate using the provided solution or if you calibrate with test results from their Hanna Testers?

I calibrate my normal Trident with my test results but wasn’t sure if the same practice would apply to the Trident NP.

lol yeah, It’s not needed but I’m kind of an equipment junkie and like that part of the hobby too. Struggled to keep elevated nutrients in my last setup so figured maybe it’ll help me pay more attention and see the trends of what is going on.

Let us know how the NP goes. Lots of mixed reviews kept me on the sidelines. A lot of people say the phosphates is not working. Was going to see how the maven test, but that has been delayed for much longer than I thought.

I use the trident np for 2 months. I never officially calibrated it. The nitrates was accurate and the phosphate was off by .04. I used it to make sure my nutrients didn't bottom out. I knew if I had a certain reading I was good. I plan on using it again when I'm on a vacation after Christmas. I will run it a month before my trip to dial in my readings. I'm not a fan of the reagent cost to run it all the time.

Thanks for another feedback for NP. Looks like more reefers are using it.
