Their qp series would make much more water movement. Its just not that powerful. It does a good job of making wide flow, but just not very powerful. It would work decent for a smaller tank as the Nano implies.

The Nero is a completely different pump technology than the RN1. I previously thought it was the same motor, however a friend of mind too both pumps apart and they are not similar at all. Completely different design. The Wavline Wavepuck is the same design as the Nero.

I have one and been using it for about 3 months in a 47g. If you plan to use just one I would not get it for anything bigger than 40g and even that's kinda pushing it. The flow is wide but not very strong so about 1.5 ft from it and I'm barely feeling any flow on my hand. I have moved it onto the back wall of my 120 and I think it's perfect to get some flow in that direction. The low profile makes it a lot less of an eyesore compared to the Sicce Voyager I have on the back.
What I like:
-low profile with thin cord
-m/s synching
-light sensor for flow control
What I don't like:
-flow is a bit lacking
-controller is huge

Yep, it goes into a night mode where the flow is lowered and changed to constant. You can set this on or off but you can't change the flow pattern or speed.
