unknown black/white slug object shooting white stuff

hi, i recently discover 2 slug looking thing that grew inside my tank. one is all black and one is all white. they have a small pill-shaped shell on their back which doesnt cover the entire length of body. they once a while come out from the rock to shoot (literally) like squirting white stuff straight out of they body into the water. anyone know what it is? i try to get a pic of it next time i see it.

just gotta make sure is not toxic chemical they are releasing. but thats what i was thinking too. hehehehhe

might be also mini abalone. Are the shells come to a point or pill shape and not pointed. If not its probably mini abalone love those little guys.

Probably Stomatella Varia spawning.
Very common and good algea grazers.

yup stomatella varia, it spawns in my tank after water changes it could be a tempature sensitive thing also. very cool to see it, gratz on haveing a healthy reef.

is amazing how both of mine would spawn at the same time even if they are spaced 4 5 rocks apart. as if they have a cell phone to call each other saying "hey!!! lets shoot some offspring out" lol
