Hey guys just wanted to share my tank build. maybe get advice along the way I started this build in feburary with a fishless cycle and I have added livestock and more is waiting in quarantine.

First purchase was the RODI system and water saver upgrade kit with triple di from brs. Water first.

Condition I got the tank in. The stand needs some work and tank needs cleaning .

Test filled the tank and it leaked from most of the plexiglass part of the center overflow had to re-install it used 20 oz silicone way to much but it worked.

Worked on the stand and supports under the house. Then leveled the tank meanwhile I had a 120 tank cycle going on the rock for this build.

Cant thank my freinds enough for the help on getting the supports under the floor and helping lug this tank around.

Filled the tank added the fuge. I Foundout my attempt at waterproofing the stand was unsuccessful after a spill during the fill. This is how I had to dry it off good thing for the gfci.

I added some hard corals I got from thegrun. I attached them to some rubble after removing from frag plugs. I got frag plug of zoa from Ellis aquatics and clean up crew. after dipping in coral dip RODI and coral dip again. Also added a pair of clowns from rusted180 and some clean up crew.

Added a booster pump to the RODI system due to tds being about 10 now it comes out at 2 I didnt have bad pressure but wow what a difference.

Got a shroom and some fire goby in the 20g qt tank. Lost a mini brittle star on the dip. So sad. Thanks dontavo27 for the shroom.

Lost the cleaner wrasse and leopard wrasse in the qt sad event ammonia checked okay dont see anything wrong it was also two seperate tanks. Cleaner wrasse got stuck under the sand container so I removed it leopard is a mystery hope the goby will be okay.

Build is looking great. so your QT is more of an observation tank? Ive always struggled getting leopard and cleaners through my QT.

I was a little hesitant adding tangs to my tank first but am so glad i did now. No real issues with algae from the get go. That lawn mower/starry blenny is going to do wonders for ya too.

I cant wait to add the tangs but it looks like its gonna be a while I noticed my hippo scratching on the rocks so I did a tank transfer on the QT and now I am starting the wait all over.

I am having algae issues any advice I just vacuumed the whole tank and it is back 1 day later. My poor corals gonna clean it again today any advice would be appreciated.
