Not a good month for me. I dosed too much iodine and potassium. The encrusting retreated and it’s barely holding on.

Well, I’m unfortunately out… came back from vacation and tank isn’t doing that great. Lost the frag and a few others are struggling too. P04 is bottomed out at 0.0 so thinking that probably is the cause as all other tests looked good.

sorry to hear.. bottomed out nutrients definitely impact the sensitive ones first

Definitely bummer. Vacay and reefing don’t mix, Murphy always show up. Hope the other frags recover.

Unfortunately a fish busted my frag off the plug a few weeks ago. I discovered the frag buried in the sand and glued it back on the plug. I was optimistic that it would be a minor setback, but a few days later the encrusted base died off and now I’m back to square one. The frag has just started encrusting again

October, not much going on. Actually looks like it lost color. Still surviving though

couple other frags I got from Jason at the same time are really thriving. Bahama mama and voodoo magic

Had an odd uptake in calcium consumption the last 2 months. Found CA at 350, been slowing bumping up doser from 16cc/day up to 35cc/day and finally stable at 400. I guess everything else in the tank is growing except this darn insanity frag.

Me too...got a good size frag of Master Yoda at the same time and its huge now.

I agree with you guys. my master Yoda is doing well, probably gotten twice as big. the insanity though, is driving me insane. is that where it gets its name?
